*Review for breakfast only*. Parking at this time is no problem- very refreshing. They have many unique menu items. I stuck with the chicken sausage and eggs. Pro- Fried green tomatoes! Con- No bacon. How is that possible. There aren’t a lot of quality breakfast places in this area so I will return.

We just finished our TSA pre Screen interview and decided to go out to dinner. Did some google searches and found the Old Vine Cafe highly rated so we headed over to see for ourselves. Yup. The reviews are right. We splurged for the wine tasting menus. My wife had the original and I had the premium because I love blueberries. Lamb chops with blueberry demiglaze. Every one of the dishes was delicious and the server was purrfect but, I had to say it. I didn't taste the blueberries. It was still great but I didn't find the blueberry taste I was looking for but that in no way diminished the taste and quality of the food I ate. I love eating out on the patio too.

The food and service was good. It is a bit over hyped and the food is waaay more expensive than it's worth. Came here for brunch one Sunday and luckily there was no line which is great but unusual. We got the 'open faced' for $15 to share because the portions are kinda big. The waitress was very nice, fast and efficient. We got our food pretty quickly after we ordered. It was very tasty, dripping in this special slightly spicy creamy sauce. The biscuit was inside a pile of eggs but slightly cold. The chicken sausages and potatoes are very good.

Pretty big fan of this place. I have had lunch here and it was pretty clear that this was going to be a fun place to return to. The layout is quite nice and the eclectic nature of the surroundings make it feel like a hidden gem. Of course you must drink the wines. Everyone here is quite familiar with the choices so you should have no problem finding your way around.... Make sure to try the blue cheese cheesecake amazing...

Great place for brunch. We've been coming here regularly and service has always been consistent. Portions are large and good enough for sharing. Great coffee as well.

We had the beef tongue omelet and fresh blue berry French toast. Both were quite good but French toast was a tad on the pricey side. Overall good food and pleasant experience Updated 8/26/18Just came back and had the rabbit mole, goat omelette and banana pecan crepe. The rabbit was really tender but the star for me was the corn bread. Everything else was good as well.

We went out for our anniversary and it wasn't great. We ordered our food and then asked for bread. Close to 30 minutes later, I asked if they could please bring the bread (I was starving). They said that they were working on it. Working on it? You take a roll, you heat it up, you cut it, and you drizzle olive oil on it. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think bread should take 30 minutes. 5 minutes later, the server asked if we needed anything... yeah the bread! Oh they're still working on it, and this response came with some attitude. This better be some special, fu*king bread. Soon after, the food AND bread arrived together. My dish was too salty and the bread looked like my little cousin prepared it (although at least the bread was good). Not a great way to spend our anniversary.

Terrific choices for breakfast and lunch. Dinner Tuesday-Sunday. Mimosas were good. Wine choices appeared to be extensive. Showed a lot of imagination in menu options. Can't wait to return again! This cafe is toward the back of The Camp Both indoor and outdoor tables. Look for it.

We love Old Vine! We get a tasting menu with wine pairing and then order individual dishes. The food is always wonderful and the wines are always delicious. I highly recommend. Uber/Lyft there because parking can be bad and the wine pours are generous.

I adore this place. Fantastic, varied menu, wonderfully helpful and courteous wait staff, and a neat part of town. I had a huge goat omelet with gobs of tender, lean, boneless meat. Also a side of scrapple, which was absolutely delicious - not at all like the pasty rubbish that you get in the market. I cannot wait to come back. What a find!

This restaurant had an eclectic menu with goat, rabbit and lengua. My husband had lengua omlette. It was so tender but quite spicy. If you don't want it that spicy, just ask for less or no chiles on top. I had the southern...also very delish! The green tomato slice was very thick...I think would've been more delish if it were skinnier. But overall, very good. We'd definitely go back.

Delicious in every way. Chef Mark McDonald had put together an amazing establishment. The attention to detail in flavors and tasting menus pleases everyone, and his work ethic show in the excellent scenarios, both decoration and service. Great job Mark!

Without a doubt one of the best breakfasts in Orange County. The openface (terribly captured in my picture) is unbelievably addictive. I have only made it in for dinner once but the stroganoff was the best I have ever had.

Ultra high end gourmet breakfast! The open faced breakfast is great with a biscuitwrapped inside a sausage omelette, and topped with chipotle gravy. The caramel apple French toast is good with made from scratch caramel sauce. It comes in the style of bread pudding, but it's a bit dry. The coffee is amazing and served with nice heavy cream, and a complimentary little biscotti.

Hands down- favorite brunch in socal!First off the coffee is amaze! Its a delicious italian brand coffee that comes with a small piece of homemade biscotti. The food does change around a bit but I usually prefer to get the omelette because you get such a good variety of foodWith the omelette you get:An omelette (obviously)The most delicious spanish style breakfast potatoes everA choice of side (english muffin or toast, I recommend the muffin) and your choice of garnish. I prefer the kiwi marmalade but the boyfriend likes the pistachio butterIf you prefer something heartier and heavy i'd get the "open face" Its a biscuit covered in cheese, italian sausage, eggs etc and covered with gravy. SUPER fillingThe wait is a bit of a pain...anywhere from 60-90 minutes if you go on a weekend during busy hours so try to go at around 10am and theres usually no wait. Servers are distant but always nice and professional

One of my favorite restaurants in OC. Tucked in the back end of the Camp. Craft cocktails. Great wine list. Creative food. Excellent service. You cannot go wrong with one of the tasting menus.

New expanded location, fewer prefix menus but still great value especially with wine pairings. Want to get away from American-boring but not all the way to French-fancy? Date night ? Foodie ? Vegetarian or Vegan ? Try this place and don’t forget to pick up 6 bottles for $60 to go.

The newly renovated appearance and extra seating only adds to this simply amazing Restaurant. From the moment you walk in you feel as though the entire Staff is there only for you. The service, the ambiance and the food are all nothing short of outstanding. We travel the US and around the world, and we enjoy the great restaurants. And Old Vine ranks with the very best Michelin Restaurants anywhere!!!

Old Vine Kitchen is definitely a hidden gem in Costa Mesa. And really, it is kinda hidden since it's an area that I never seem to have passed, especially when I've been at The Camp so many times!I came here for breakfast. The breakfast menu is separated in 3 categories - sweet, savory, and comfort. It's pretty self explanatory. I ordered an apple french toast, vegetarian omelette, and the southern brunch. They're generous portions. So if you were to come here with friends, order one of each and share it among you guys. It would be nice to have a little bit of everything. My favorite, surprisingly, was the vegetarian omelette, and I'm a meat eater. The apple french toast was also amazing! The restaurant itself is pretty spacious. Has that rustic feel. "Old Vine" is very fitting. Staff is very friendly. I would definitely come back here again for breakfast!

The Old Vine Cafe has moved next door into the vacated ECCO spot and tripled its size in the process. Just beautiful.
